Been sober 11 years from Meth and alcohol and ..., 10.5 from Nicotine. Got my Lab at 9 months sober, looking back it's been the best relationship I have ever had and my longest relationship. He has taught me so much about love, forgiveness, playfulness and responsibility. One thing I try to remember to ask myself when problems with people arise...."Do I want to be right, or do I want to be happy?" most days I want to be happy. Godspeed.
