#1. “This would make a great reality show.”
What’s weird is that “Baby Borrowers” is actually pretty cool. Some of these teenagers are horrible people. Horrible. The good news is that their boy or girlfriends get to find out. The absence of cash and prizes certainly brings out a different quality in people. I honestly only watched it because it was made here in Boise and in Eagle. Boise looks GREAT on TV.
#2. “Get out of my face, you cunt.”
Guilty. I said it. To a home group member. In front of a newcomer. I sat down with my sponsor for a couple of hours the next day writing inventory on the incident, and he showed me some stuff about 4-7, especially 7, that I had never considered before. Then, after 2 hours of getting right down to the very root of the problem, the shortcomings that drove that behavior and block me from my Higher Power, we had 15 minutes of deliciously vicious gossip and planted a tree. Fabulous.
#3. “I don’t need an AA meeting today.”
Yeah. Right. Whatever. It’s all about you, isn’t it?
aaaanyway.

Agree 100% on the baby borrowers comments. The scary thing is how many young girls get knocked up and THEN find they are saddled with a piece of crap for a baby daddy. I’ve seen that several times in my own extended family. so this show is eye opening for that reason alone. But people go ahead and do whatever they wanna do anyway, you know?
And Boise does look like a very cool town. I want to visit, now that I live in the West. Always have been fascinated with Boise, and I am not sure why. Closest I have been was Pocatello, and it was NOT all that. But I hear Boise is diff.

I thought the guys did better than the girls, and the one girl who got into it with her Mom, looked like she was stoned or on something. Plus, I thought she was a heartless bitch. My God, it was just three lousey days out of their life! Amazing and very interesting. Next week they get toddlers.
